Surrounded on three sides by beautiful Douglas Lake with spectacular views of the Smoky Mountains, Douglas Lake and the surrounding countryside, Emerald Pointe was developed from one of the most beautiful and unique properties in all of the Smokies. In order to preserve the pristine quality at Emerald Pointe, we’ve taken a large portion of the land and “set it aside” as a private nature preserve. We then clustered large home sites in and around this private park, so that our customers could enjoy both the natural beauty and quaint community atmosphere. We ended up with home sites small enough for easy maintenance, yet with the surrounding parklands, large enough for the feeling of privacy that one would expect from living on 2 or 3 acres.
